Good shepherd convent not only produces great mountain maids, ube jam and other jams, but great landscaping.  We were there this week end (the road bikers warriors from Angono)

See for yourself

Baguio City, the city of flowers

Rizal Philippines
February 13, 2017

Flowers is for the lover and and to express our love for our dearly departed.

Baguio City is the city of flowers.  Flowers from Dangwa in Manila come from Baguio City.
These pictures show that Baguio is really the city of flowers

Before the end of February, tourists will flock to Baguio City for the Panagbengga Festival (for flowers) similar to the Rose Bowl parade in Pasadena California

These were seen in a resort hotel in Dumaguete  Dauin Negros Oriental and are worth benchmarking/imitating, improvement by many landscapers:

At Le Cafe near the airport

Walls are made of rough hewn coco lumber
Lamp is made of bamboo with cloth decor

Old toys are made part of decor

Wood carving of a hunter probably bought from Baguio City

Table made of  2 x 12 panels;  they serve good food
                                                    and coffee

                                           Reception area of Rhoyle Air

Could not figure what the function of this decor was/is?

At Dauin Negros Oriental (south bound)

Waterfalls, large stone, wishing well at the entrance

Reception area of the hotel resort

High ceiling made of hewn wood and bamboo, nipa

Calling cards, award and brochure prominently displayed at
                                    the reception area for awareness

Shrubs and well manicured ground cover

Positioning statement in blackboard and colored chalk

Decoration of the ceiling a la motif;  for cooling effect too
