Riot of colors from bougainvillae and golden shower

This summer there is a riot of colors from flowers, mostly from bougainvillae which blooms on hot summer days.  It is said that crisis or difficulty in water, drought triggers most plants to bloom. Crisis stimulate plants to struggle to survive and this includes perpetuation of the species.

This was featured in Cooltura at Channel 13 and it showed  San Manuel as the winner.  This could  be the equivalent of Festival Lights at Japan or US.  We could benchmark this  if our towns or business sites, parks wishes to outshine or make them special:   a head turner, a memorable place.  A place where our eyes can feast.
